Purpose:
Benefits:
  • Diagnostically utilize your experience of the client's behavior to further their growth

  • Identification of elements within clinical sessions which reflect a microcosm of the client's life in the world

  • What you can learn when you feel stuck, blind-sided or hooked by a client

  • When, how and if to address spiritual aspects within the therapeutic context

  • Collegial support for you as an individual, a clinician, and a business owner

Process case consultation is an interactive mentoring process building a blend of clinical skills and intuition, to further develop your awareness of projections, transference and counter-transference issues within the healing relationship.

Your ongoing task as a therapist is to augment theoretical studies through development of trust in your personal insights, intuition and skills. Your primary source of information is your own intuition and your sense of the client.

Process case consultation will confirm your skills, develop your ability to recognize when your own personal material may be affecting your reactions and interventions, and help you handle the situation to the advantage of the therapeutic relationship.

  • Increase your knowledge of ways to use your presence and timing skillfully

  • Hone your unique therapeutic style and skills

  • Verify how much you already know through interactions with your colleagues

  • Earn supervision hours toward certification in a congenial collegial setting

  • Develop increased breadth and depth in your skill base

Other Consultation Services Offered:

  1. Extern supervision and mentorship, upon mutual agreement.
  2. Individual consultation for practice management, process case consultation, or brochure development.
  3. Group and individual consultation or supervision hours may be applied to the Washington State Certification requirements.
